We've been busy! Here's what we've been up to lately.
We're continuing to enjoy the gorgeous Fall weather here in Pennsylvania. This is one of my new favorites of Jer!
Landon just got his first haircut. The mullet is gone, and he is looking more and more like a little boy every day.
Jer took me on a wonderful, surprise weekend away to the historic Summit Resort. It was perfect! We stayed up late, slept in late, visited a winery, went to the movies, and shared fantastic meals (the food was great, but the little blue Tiffany's box that the waitress brought was especially delicious!).
Landon celebrated Halloween as an adorable little Steeler.
And finally, starting late last week, I am officially a homemaker (who just happens to grade papers and answer emails every second that the baby is asleep!). This is truly an answer to prayer, and we are so, so thankful! However, today I learned a very important lesson as a stay-at-home-mom...making brownies with a baby is a lot harder than one would expect! It was a very yummy experience though!
We hope that everything is going well for you and your family. Please keep in touch!
Love,
Jer, Les, and Landon

I thought you said you were making sugar cookies with him, and didnt realize when you said "make" you meant literally, at least the brownies match the table top, not so much the baby's belly. I do think you were brilliant to at least strip off the clothes first before letting him dive in! xoxoxo

Thank you for the update—it really looks like fall there. I wish we could have made it up there this season---maybe we will be there next fall. And hopefully it will be snowing when/if we come for Dan’s birthday. Jer looks so handsome in his picture and you look beautiful as always. I am glad you both had a nice weekend get-a-way. And please squeeze my little nephew for me. Grayson and Addison are tired of getting all of my pinches and kisses---I need to share them with little Landon. I can’t wait to see you all---I haven’t seen Jeremy since May!!!! We missy you!

Landon and I could have doubled as twins for Halloween. I was also a Steeler. :-) It looks like the family is doing great! I miss you guys!! So, what was in the little blue box?
My cousin has turned out to be quite the romantic!

I love seeing the happiness in your lives so reflected in Landon's smile.
Truly, it's a blessing straight from God that you can be home with him. I am humbled by this, and so happy for you.

How fun to see these photos, Les! And the first thing I noticed was that you're smart enough to strip that baby down to his diaper before you turn him loose with the browning bowl and spoon. Very smart!
I'm so tickled for you that you can stay at home now. It's a win-win for everyone.
Love, love these photos.
