This is the last photo that we'll be given before the big day.
Just in case you're having a hard time distinguishing ears from eyes and
cheeks from a chin, this is a profile shot. The dotted line traces his forehead (far right), goes up over his nose, follows both his upper and bottom lip, and then ends between his chin and neck.
He's already a cutie! Enjoy!

I'm still amazed we get to see him before he's born. I never got to see a single ultrasound of any of you three. He looks like the baby on the cover of "A Child is Born" which we wore out, wondering what you all looked like.
He's almost here - can't wait to hold him. And to see your feet normal-looking again! xoxoox

I also love seeing that this blog will work for you; all we really want is to see you guys, hear what's going on in your lives. Looks like this will work.

Call me silly but I'm definitely seeing a strong resemblance to his daddy. :-) The ultrasound photos are so cool - your mom and I didn't even know the sex of our babies until they were born. Nurseries were always yellow back then. Aren't you excited? The last two weeks of pregnancy, both times, I was so excited about meeting my baby I couldn't stand it!

I know it sounds silly- and may be 13 year old obsolete advice ... but ... if those ultrasounds still come on that fax paper stuff? Get a good black and white copy made now (cause US paper fades) and use the border to do the little here is your nose, mouth etc arrows. It all looks soooo "of course" now, but in a year or two (or 13) it all just blends together and you forget.
That's it! Enjoy that little one :) And enjoy being pregnant, and having puffy feet. You honestly miss it later. Really, honest, you do - heehee
